The Kerem Tunnel is the first cycle tunnel to be constructed in Israel and was officially opened in the year 2000 as a part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle path that runs around Jerusalem, the capital city.
The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The tunnel's southern entry point is located within Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem about half a km from the Kerem junction.
